Henninger\/Garrett's condition

This group of images show some of the condition of the roller as it was found, and also show how compleat the roller is and I hope give some idea of the work that is still todo.

The tender has some corrosion on it and is holed in a couple of place's. I hope to be able to repair the rusted out sections. You can also see that there is a continental injecter on it which is not original and will be replaced in time, but it will do for the moment if it works.

This shows some of the the gears and also that there is still some life left in them. I will be replacing them at some point but it will be able to be used for the moment even if a bit loud.

This show's the corigated firebax crown and this a feature of Garrett built engine's. From the reading's taken of the firebox it is still good and should last for a few more years yet.

This shows the man stand and shows that all is there but the pressure gauge.

I have altered this image to show how I plan to show her as soon as I can get her back in steam. I plan to put a Garrett half roof on her. The struts that I have at present with the steel roof would have had a wooden roof on it and I will use this when I put the new roof on.
